The selected editor will turn raw footage into polished short-form videos. The work requires strong pacing, hooks, captions, graphics, and effects. Reliable delivery and quick revisions are important.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage.
- Create Instagram Reels.
- Create YouTube Shorts.
- Create TikTok videos.
- Cut and trim footage.
- Keep videos fast-paced and engaging.
- Add graphics and text overlays.
- Add transitions.
- Add visual effects.
- Create strong opening hooks.
- Add visual hooks.
- Add on-screen written hooks.
- Add music and audio hooks.
- Sync edits with music beats.
- Add trending audio.
- Add sound effects.
- Add instrumental elements.
- Deliver completed videos on time.
- Make revisions quickly.
- Follow editing briefs and timelines.
Requirements
- Proven short-form video editing experience.
- Portfolio or sample Reels and Shorts.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- After Effects knowledge is an advantage.
- CapCut knowledge is an advantage.
- DaVinci Resolve knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of pacing.
- Strong hook creation skills.
- Good understanding of short-form performance.
- Clean motion graphics skills.
- Good captioning skills.
- Good visual effects skills.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Reliable and deadline-focused approach.
- Good communication skills.
