Idea Farms is hiring a 3D Product Designer for its Pune team. This is an on-site or hybrid opening based in Wadgaonsheri, Pune, Maharashtra. The role is for entry-level candidates who want to work in physical product design and 3D printing.
The company designs and manufactures 3D printed products like home décor items collectible figures indoor games and precision maps. They are looking for someone creative who can build product models and support new product development.
This is not a remote-only role. So the city and state have been added with the location. The company has shared an email ID for application.
About the Company
Idea Farms works on 3D printed products and maker-based design work. Their product range includes décor pieces figures games and maps. The company uses 3D printing laser engraving and resin casting to turn ideas into real products.
The selected candidate will work closely with the production team and get hands-on exposure to real product development.
Job Responsibilities
- Design 3D models for home décor figures indoor games and 3D maps
- Use Blender Fusion 360 or TinkerCAD to create print-ready models
- Work with the production team to optimize designs for FDM resin and laser workflows
- Help create product renders mockups and lifestyle visuals for the online store
- Suggest new product ideas with sketches or rough models
- Improve products based on customer feedback
The role is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience. The company is open to training the right candidate.
Eligibility and Skills
- Fresher or 0 to 2 years of experience can apply
- Basic knowledge of any 3D modelling software
- Blender knowledge is preferred
- Good eye for detail and product design
- Interest in 3D printing maker culture DIY or physical product creation
- Portfolio or college projects are required
- Personal design experiments can also be considered
Candidates with exposure to laser engraving resin casting or prototyping may get an advantage.
