Plum and Sugar Salon is a premium beauty destination with branches in HSR Layout and JP Nagar, Bengaluru, with another location planned in Sarjapur. The company is looking for a Cinematographer & Video Editor who can create cinematic and engaging beauty content.
The selected candidate will handle the full video production process, from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery. Strong camera skills, lighting knowledge, editing ability, and visual storytelling are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cinematic shoots across salon branches.
- Create service reveals, transformation videos, brand content, and campaigns.
- Handle the complete production process from pre-shoot planning to final delivery.
- Direct shoots with proper lighting, framing, camera movement, and mood.
- Operate cameras with good knowledge of exposure, focus, composition, and movement.
- Edit footage with precise pacing and sound design.
- Perform color grading and video finishing.
- Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other social platforms.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across content.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on campaigns and seasonal content.
- Travel between salon branches as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cinematography and video editing.
- Creative portfolio or showreel is mandatory.
- Strong camera operation skills.
- Good knowledge of exposure, focus, composition, and camera movement.
- Experience with indoor or studio lighting setups.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong visual storytelling skills.
- Good understanding of aesthetics and cinematic presentation.

- Gimbal experience.
- Slider or cinematic rig experience.
- Color grading expertise.
- Motion graphics knowledge.
- After Effects skills.
- Experience with beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content.
