Drafter job in United States Actalent

Overview

Our client, a telecom and utility engineering firm, is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter or CAD Technician skilled in AutoCAD and ArcGIS to join their team. This position focuses on creating underground and aerial fiber layouts for the telecom and utility industries.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and ArcGIS to develop underground and aerial fiber layouts.
• Generate land base prints in AutoCAD for field use.
• Complete Utility Plan sets for construction projects.
• Create permit drawings for various permitting authorities.
• Compile job books upon project completion.
• Import and export various file types to and from AutoCAD to facilitate project workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in telecommunications and drafting.
