Job Title: Project Engineer (Environmental Sustainability)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in solid waste management. This role involves client interactions, problem-solving, and overseeing projects that focus primarily on landfill and landfill gas systems. The Project Engineer will handle design and permitting for solid waste facilities, oversee construction operations, and conduct air quality permitting.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Lead projects with a team, focusing on landfill and landfill gas systems.
- Permitting & Design: Manage the permitting and design processes for solid waste facilities.
- Construction Supervision: Oversee and monitor construction operations to ensure timely completion.
- Air Quality Permitting: Conduct and manage air quality permits related to projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Construction, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a related engineering role.
- Certification: E.I.T. certification required.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
Additional Skills
- Permitting Knowledge: Familiarity with solid waste facility permits is preferred.
- Communication & Teamwork: Ability to work closely with clients, construction teams, and office design teams.

- Field and Office Work: This role requires both on-site meetings with construction teams and collaboration in an office setting with design teams and project managers.
