Facts Phylum is hiring a Video Editor for its animal and facts YouTube channel. This is a remote opportunity for candidates who can edit engaging long-form videos. Candidates with storytelling and documentary-style editing experience are preferred.
You will edit videos for a growing YouTube channel. The work includes cinematic editing, motion graphics, sound design, and smooth storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos.
- Create engaging video storytelling.
- Add smooth transitions.
- Use B-roll and cinematic visuals.
- Add sound effects and background music.
- Do basic color correction.
- Improve audio quality.
- Source copyright-free visuals when needed.
- Deliver videos on time.
Eligibility
- Experience in video editing required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Good sense of pacing and storytelling.
- Experience with documentary wildlife or educational content preferred.
- Able to follow feedback and brand style.
- Reliable internet connection required.
- Timely communication required.
