The selected candidate will edit long-form YouTube lectures and exam-preparation videos. The work also includes creating Shorts and Reels from longer videos. Strong pacing, storytelling, and audience retention skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube lectures.
- Edit exam-preparation videos.
- Turn complex legal content into engaging videos.
- Create Shorts from long-form lectures.
- Create Reels for daily distribution.
- Add music and sound effects.
- Add transitions.
- Add subtitles.
- Add on-screen graphics.
- Perform basic colour correction.
- Clean and improve audio.
- Create basic motion graphics.
- Find strong and clippable moments in raw footage.
- Structure videos for better watch time.
- Maintain consistent visual branding.
- Work with instructors on content structure.
- Improve clarity and viewer engagement.
- Manage multiple editing projects.
- Deliver completed videos within deadlines.
Required Tools
- Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
- CapCut knowledge is an advantage.
- DaVinci Resolve knowledge is an advantage.
- After Effects knowledge is an advantage.
- Photoshop knowledge is an advantage.
- Canva knowledge is an advantage.
- Audition knowledge is an advantage.
- CapCut AI knowledge is an advantage.
- Runway knowledge is an advantage.
- Adobe Firefly knowledge is an advantage.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of video editing experience.
- YouTube editing experience is preferred.
- Social media editing experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pacing.
- Strong hook creation skills.
- Good storytelling skills.
- Strong audience retention sense.
- Good colour correction skills.
- Good audio editing skills.
- Ability to edit long lecture footage.
- Ability to create tight and engaging content.

Portfolio
A portfolio or showreel is required. It should include at least one Shorts or Reels edit and one long-form video edit.
