Job Overview
The Forklift Operator will handle material movement using forklifts and other equipment, maintain inventory records, and follow strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities & Role Details
- Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, hand pallet) to move goods
- Load/unload trucks, containers, and storage areas
- Stack and organize materials properly
- Inspect forklifts before and after use
- Maintain inventory movement records and assist in stock-taking
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Coordinate with supervisors and warehouse staff
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
Eligibility & Skills Required
- Minimum Class VIII/X pass (or equivalent)
- Valid Forklift Operator License / Certification (mandatory)
- 1–3 years experience in forklift operations in industrial/warehouse setup
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety norms
- Physical stamina, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude
