Orbiverse Digital is hiring a Video Editor Intern for its brand and client projects. The work includes reels, short videos and ad videos.
The internship can be remote at the start. It may lead to a full-time opportunity based on performance. Candidates should have a portfolio and basic video editing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Create 15–30 second Meta ad videos.
- Add strong hooks, captions and clear calls to action.
- Create different video versions for ad testing.
- Resize videos for 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 formats.
- Add captions, motion text, music and sound effects.
- Add transitions and other visual elements.
- Suggest hooks, concepts and trending reel formats.
- Follow brand guidelines.
- Apply feedback quickly.
- Deliver work on time.
- Keep project files organised.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of video editing experience.
- Freelance, internship or personal project experience is accepted.
- Portfolio with at least 3 reels or short videos.
- Portfolio links must be accessible.
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of Instagram, YouTube and Facebook content.
- Good sense of pacing, sound and storytelling.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Good To Have
- Photoshop or Canva knowledge.
- Experience with AI video tools.
- Basic shooting or lighting knowledge.
