eQOURSE is hiring a Multilingual DTP Specialist / PDF Designer. The role focuses on localizing professional training materials.
The selected candidate will redesign and format the training document “H1 Module - Document Version.pdf” in Kannada, Marathi and Telugu.
The document includes complex layouts such as multi-column tables, ROI calculators, workflow diagrams, frameworks, checklists and other structured visual elements.
Key Responsibilities:
Multilingual Text Integration
- Add Kannada, Marathi and Telugu translations to the existing document layout.
- Replace English content with the provided translated text.
- Preserve the original document structure.
- Maintain the original visual hierarchy.
- Ensure accurate placement and formatting of localized text.
Layout and Typography
- Adjust font sizes to fit translated content.
- Adjust line spacing and paragraph widths.
- Adjust margins and text boxes when required.
- Handle text expansion and contraction.
- Prevent text clipping and overlapping.
- Avoid awkward line breaks.
- Avoid unnecessary blank spaces.
- Maintain consistent typography and spacing.
- Maintain proper alignment and visual hierarchy across all pages.
Tables, Charts and Graphics
- Rework complex visual elements for localized content.
- Resize and realign the 3 Drain Points Framework.
- Resize and realign ROI Formula / Calculator graphics.
- Resize and realign AI Tool Ecosystem tables.
- Resize and realign Workflow diagrams.
- Resize and realign the 48-Hour AI Action Plan.
- Resize and realign Interactive-style checklists.
- Handle multi-column tables and other structured layouts.
- Keep icons, graphics, tables and text blocks properly aligned.
Indic Language Typography
- Select suitable Unicode-compatible fonts for Kannada, Marathi and Telugu.
- Ensure proper rendering of Indic characters.
- Check conjuncts, matras, punctuation and special characters.
- Embed fonts correctly in the final PDF files.
- Maintain a modern and professional corporate visual style.
Quality Assurance
- Compare each localized version with the original English PDF.
- Check every page for text clipping or overflow.
- Check line breaks and alignment.
- Check font and rendering issues.
- Check for missing characters.
- Check spacing consistency.
- Check table and graphic alignment.
- Check page breaks.
- Check overall visual consistency.
- Ensure the final PDFs are suitable for digital distribution.
- Ensure the final PDFs are suitable for professional printing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience in DTP, PDF design, document formatting or layout design.
- Strong knowledge of professional design and layout tools.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Experience with Affinity Publisher.
- Equivalent professional DTP or layout software experience is also applicable.
- Experience with Indic languages and scripts.
- Experience with Kannada, Marathi and Telugu.
- Strong understanding of multilingual typography and document localization.
- Experience with complex documents containing tables, diagrams, charts, frameworks and structured layouts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong visual accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot font issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot character-rendering issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot PDF compatibility issues.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines.

- Experience creating localized corporate training materials.
