Designerrs Academy is hiring a Career Counsellor – Design Education to guide aspiring designers in choosing the right career path. This hybrid role combines student counselling, admissions support, and outreach activities. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Career Counselling
- Counsel prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins
- Conduct one-on-one career guidance sessions
- Explain courses, curriculum, fees, schedules, and scholarships
- Follow up with leads and achieve admission targets
- Resolve student queries and coordinate with faculty when required
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reports
Outreach & Growth
- Build partnerships with colleges, corporates, and student communities
- Conduct campus visits, seminars, workshops, and career sessions
- Support local marketing and student engagement activities
- Identify corporate training opportunities
- Represent the academy at career fairs and design events
- Track market trends and competitor activities
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 0–2 years of experience in career counselling, admissions, or student outreach
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can apply
- Kannada language proficiency is required
- English communication skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Psychology, Education, Business, Marketing, or Design
- Experience in EdTech or educational institutions
- Knowledge of UI/UX, Product Design, or Graphic Design careers
- Experience with student events or outreach programs
- Familiarity with Bengaluru's design or student ecosystem
