Description

This job position is for a Site Manager role, with a primary focus on managing operations, coordinating personnel, and maintaining high levels of efficiency and quality control in a tactical or aviation training environment. Below is a summary of the qualifications, responsibilities, and key skills required:

Qualifications

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in academic, technical, or military training and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in diverse management roles, including tactical training or aviation systems.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, analytical, project management, and supervisory abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing management reports and presentations.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Preferred: FAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Responsible for overseeing cost, scheduling, and technical performance for site operations.
  • Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to all site personnel, manage department heads, and control site budgets.
  • Customer Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients at the worksite level.
  • Coordination: Schedule and oversee training exercises, coordinate with government representatives, and manage service contracts.
  • Problem Solving: Conduct research and resolve operational issues, provide support and guidance on projects.
  • Union Liaison: Interface with union representatives to maintain adherence to agreements.

Key Skills

  • Management & Leadership: Strong leadership skills to direct site staff and manage budgets.
  • Communication & Reporting: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and produce detailed reports.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence with Microsoft Office products and management tools.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Ability to oversee scheduling and ensure resources are allocated for training and maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to work outdoors and travel frequently as per project needs.
