Sutra Interio is hiring an Interior Designer for freelance and project-based work. The designer will work closely with the Design Director on residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand client needs, lifestyle, preferences, and budget.
- Create space plans and furniture layouts.
- Develop complete interior design concepts.
- Prepare mood boards and material palettes.
- Create design presentations and realistic 3D renders.
- Prepare working drawings and elevations.
- Create furniture, joinery, and execution drawings.
- Select materials, finishes, colours, furniture, and lighting.
- Coordinate with the Design Director, vendors, and execution team.
- Handle client feedback and design revisions.
- Attend client meetings and site visits when required.
- Ensure designs are practical and execution-friendly.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with plans, elevations, and working drawings.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, or Blender.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Good understanding of space planning and furniture design.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and hardware.
- Understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, and interior execution.
- Strong design sense.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 2–6 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong portfolios can be considered over years of experience.
- Premium residential interior experience is an advantage.
- Turnkey project experience is an advantage.
- Architecture or reputed interior design company experience is an advantage.
Work Model & Compensation
- Freelance or part-time engagement.
- Mostly remote work.
- Occasional client meetings and site visits.
- Project or commission-based compensation.
- Payment depends on project value and scope.
- Higher-value projects can offer higher earning potential.
Ideal Candidate
The candidate should understand the complete interior design process. This includes concept development, space planning, 3D visualisation, working drawings, and execution.
