NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Source Parts for Fleet Customers: Identify and provide the correct parts for specialized equipment and fleet needs.
- Team Collaboration: Assist other NAPA team members and customers by using your parts knowledge to answer questions and provide guidance.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers to deliver outstanding service, interacting with management and technicians to meet their parts and service needs.
- Parts Research: Ask questions to ensure accuracy in sourcing parts and keep customers informed about parts availability.
- Customer-Centric Environment: Bring energy and a customer-focused approach to our fast-paced shop environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in the automotive industry, parts store, or willingness to learn about auto parts.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; trade school courses or technical degree preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Listening Skills & Customer Empathy: Great listening abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- License: Valid Driver’s License.
- Environment: Ability to work in an airport shop environment.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm machinery, diesel, marine, or dealership environments.
- Familiarity with airport ground support equipment.
- Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, or inventory management systems.
- ASE Certifications.
