Position Overview:

Kid City USA in Fort Collins is seeking a passionate and organized Director dedicated to ensuring quality care and development for children in a licensed childcare setting. This role involves managing daily operations, maintaining compliance with state and corporate guidelines, and fostering a positive environment for children, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare Compliance: Ensure the daily care of every child by strictly adhering to state and corporate guidelines.
• Effective Communication: Maintain open, daily communication with parents and staff, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Office Organization: Keep an organized office space to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
• Child Development Focus: Demonstrate a strong commitment to the growth and development of children under your care.
• Dependability: Serve as a reliable leader with excellent references and a positive attitude toward daily interactions with children.
• Director’s Credentials: Must possess the necessary Director’s credentials to meet state requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 1-year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, OR Level IV Early Childhood Professional Credential.
• Age Requirement: 21 years or older.
• Relocation: Ability to relocate to Fort Collins, CO 80525, before starting work.

Preferred Certifications:

• CPR Certification
• Child Development Associate Certification

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Starting from $60,000 per year.
